How will my SHAD Lassonde experience be different?
Based in the award winning Bergeron Centre of Engineering, within Canada’s largest university campus, SHAD’s at Lassonde will enjoy a truly unique experience, in Canada’s (and possibly the world’s) most dynamic city. SHAD Lassonde is firmly rooted in the ongoing activities of BEST (Bergeron Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology) linking together the labs and resources of York University’s Lassonde School of Engineering, Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business.
SHAD Lassonde combines the experiential learning approach of SHAD with the evidence based entrepreneurship approach of Lassonde School of Engineering to help develop Canadian Renaissance Engineers – all rounders with a passion to use technology to make a difference.
We want to make sure you have all the support and help you need during your SHAD Lassonde experience. We value the special importance of the relationship with York University communities and the innovation ecosystem in York Region and the GTA and give you access to these networks.
Lassonde School of Engineering
As a new engineering school, Lassonde is excited to get involved with the community and an organization like SHAD, which reflect its values. The Lassonde School of Engineering was created to be the home of the Renaissance Engineer: a place where students are free to explore their passions and gain different perspectives from the world around them.
