Community connections can be defined by a student’s connection to: in-major peers, outside-of-major peers, clubs, student government, relationship with TAs, relationship with faculty/professors, engagement with university governance
Student belonging is correlated with academic success—there are challenges in both in-person, hybrid and virtual to student success. Can we identify the factors in those situations? How can we respond to support students in their different environments?
Student communities can create long-term change, how do we promote student-led change through community building? What are current issues with student organization?
